I hope you have seen the rosy red of the alpen glow effect on mountains.  It's like a hug from God. 
After many attempts, I feel I finally succeeded in painting that effect with this piece-- if I do say so myself!  Apparently, I am not alone in that because this painting sold (to another artist who has climbed this mountain!)  before I had a chance to show it anywhere or even get it on this website.
